So, coming to the point its seems that,within over a month ,there is one application named as ZOOM app which has used till date , over by millions of peoples for official meetings,conference and by students too for online classes as per education purpose.
Personal information from hundreds of thousands of ZOOM account -- including passwords
and email addresses -- is being sold on the dark web , according to recent report.
In fact,one dataset that was sold on a hacker forum included 53,000 Zoom accounts,Bleeping Computer first reported.
The dataset was purchased by cyber security firm Cyble,,which reportedly started seeing Zoom account information posted on dark web as early as 1st April in order to inform customers of potential module sectors.
According to the tech news website, the personal information was taken by hackers who used "credential stuffing" . The successful login are then compiled into lists that are sold to other hackers ,"Bleeping Computer reported".
- Some of the hacked zoom account were given out free on hacker forums ,whiles other were sold on less penny per account, its done hugely , according to website.
- Many of the email addresses that were listed in the Cyber purchase , shows has been part of previous data breaches as per report.
Zoom states not to disclose their privacy and Security flaws
They pretend to say that, as by hired multiple intelligence firms to find these password
dumps and tools used to create them, as well as a firm that has shutdown thousands of websites attempting a trick to user to get malware or giving up credentials the spokesperson added. Behalf, they said to investigate on it and asked users to change their passwords for making it more secure and looking at implementing additional technology
solutions.
