Amazon Prime Day 2024 is just around the corner, but Amazon is already slashing prices on products for some great deals ahead of time, like the Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor from Samsung. This monitor normally retails for a whopping $1,600. Honestly, for a monitor like this one, that’s not terrible if you compare other monitors that cost quite a bit more. The Odyssey Ark for instance, is well above this price point. Still, $1,600 is a pricey monitor nonetheless.
So any chance you get to pick it up at a discount, you should take it. As of right now Amazon has dropped the price to $1,100 so it’s currently $500 off the regular price. And that’s a steal for this mega-sized monitor with all of its super neat features. My favorite feature of this monitor is the picture-by-picture. This is so good for when you have multiple devices plugged into the monitor. For example, playing a game on PS5 and watching guides or playing the same game on PC, with both sources sitting right next to each other on the same monitor.
This is great for pulling up video guides while you play, or playing co-op with a friend. The monitor is 49 inches in size as well, and ultrawide so there’s plenty of space for showing two sources at once. Additionally, this is a 240Hz panel and it comes with Dual QHD resolution. The monitor supports HDMI 2.1 as well, and it comes with a USB Hub and DisplayPort connections so you can plug in plenty of stuff. Many would consider this the ultimate gaming monitor. And for this price, we’re inclined to agree.
That being said, this is a limited-time deal. So jump on it fast if you want to save $500.
