The Pixel 8a is still available at its Prime Day price of $450!

Google Pixel 8a Review AM AH 26

Google’s Pixel 8a dropped to the low price of $450 during Amazon’s Prime Day sale this week, but don’t fret if you happened to miss Prime Day, because it’s still available at the Prime Day price in this ongoing deal from Amazon.

That’s right, you can pick up Google’s latest Pixel device for less than it would normally cost you, which is usually $500. That being said, don’t expect this price to stick around for too long. $450 was the price of the phone during Prime Day so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the phone went back up to $500 before too long.

The Pixel 8a is Google’s way of giving consumers all the best parts of the Pixel 8 but without the higher price tag. It’s mostly the same phone but it does have some differences. It’s a slightly smaller screen at 6.1 inches compared to 6.2, but it has a larger battery capacity and instead of a 50MP camera it’s a 64MP camera on the back. It’s also IP67-rated instead of IP68. Now it does also have the Tensor G3 chip but it runs at a lower clock speed. Everything else though is basically the same.

So if you’ve been wanting to get a Pixel 8, go for the Pixel 8a instead because it’s essentially nicer in terms of specs, and you’ll pay hundreds less for the price.

It runs on Android 14 and it’s an unlocked 5G phone as well. Which means you can use it on most US carriers. Additionally, the Pixel 8a comes in four available colors. Aloe, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain. All of these are available at the sale price and appear to be in stock on Amazon. For now at least.
