Xiaomi MIX Flip global price tag & retail box appear

We knew that the global Xiaomi MIX Flip model is coming, and its price tag just appeared, along with a retail box. Some retailers already seem to be carrying this phone, despite the fact the global model was never officially announced.

The global price tag for the Xiaomi MIX Flip has been revealed

The phone will seemingly cost €1,299 in Europe once it launches. The source also mentioned the price in the Philippines (PHP64,999) and Malaysia (MYR4,300). That translates to $1,147 and $983, respectively.

The only version that popped up is the variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. That could be the only version that ends up being available globally, actually. There are more variants available in China.

It’s also worth noting that the variant that surfaced comes in a black color only. That could be the only color available outside of China, though we’re not sure at this point. Purple and White are available in China, along with the Black model.

This is the company’s very first clamshell foldable

The Xiaomi MIX Flip is actually the company’s very first clamshell foldable. While the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 also launched, that’s the fourth-gen book-style foldable. The MIX Flip is the first of its kind.

It does seem to be quite a compelling smartphone, though. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It also includes up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage (at least in China).

It has large main and cover displays, both of which are AMOLED panels with a high refresh rate. A rather capable camera setup is also included on this phone, with Leica’s backing. Two 50-megapixel units are included, wide and telemacro cameras.

A 4,780mAh battery also sits inside of this phone. The device supports 67W wired charging, while wireless charging is not supported. A charger does come with the phone, at least in the company’s homeland.
