Motorola Signature official image leak featured

The Motorola Signature, the company’s new non-folding flagship, is right around the corner. It’s expected to become official in a couple of days, and while we’re waiting for that to happen, a well-known tipster has just shared a new official image of the Motorola Signature, not to mention its detailed spec sheet.

The Motorola Signature’s detailed spec sheet and a seemingly official image have surfaced

The information comes from Evan Blass, as he shared a ton of info on X. If you check out the image below, you’ll see the device in two colors. On top of that, the device is also shown from the front.

We’ve already shown you these two colors of the phone in our Motorola Edge 70 Ultra leak a while back. Motorola decided to rebrand the phone, so it will be called the Motorola Signature, but the design remains the same.

It will have a triple camera setup on the back, which will be a part of a camera island placed in the top-left corner. The backside of the phone will be grippy, it seems. The display will be curved a bit, and a display camera hole will sit at the top of the display, it’s centered.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC + up to 16GB of RAM

Now, for the specs. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC will fuel the phone. The device will arrive in 12GB and 16GB RAM (LPDDR5X) options, along with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB (UFS 4.1) of storage.

It will have an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and support face unlock. Android 16 will come pre-installed on the phone, while Motorola will offer up to 7 years of software updates.

A 5,200mAh battery will be a part of the package as well, a silicon-carbon battery. Motorola will also include 90W TurboPower wired charging and 50W TurboPower wireless charging. On top of that, 10W reverse wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging will be on offer.

The device is said to offer up to 41 hours of battery life, up to 28 hours of continuous video playback, and up to 18 hours of uninterrupted gaming. Well, at least according to the company’s projections shared by Evan Blass.

A 6.8-inch ‘Extreme AMOLED’ display will be included

A 6.8-inch ‘Extreme AMOLED’ display will be on offer here. It will have a 2780 x 1264 resolution and a 95.23% screen-to-body ratio. Dolby Vision will be supported, as will HDR10+ and Pantone Validated Color and SkinTone certifications. Its refresh rate will go all the way up to 165Hz, while the peak brightness will be 6,200 nits. It will be an LTPO display, of course.

A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony LYT-828, f/1.6 aperture, OIS, 2.44um pixel size, multispectral 3-in-1 light sensor) will be included, as will a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit (f/2.0 aperture, 12mm focal length, 1.28um Quad Pixel, 122-degree FoV, f/2.0 aperture, macro). The third camera on the back will be a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit (Sony LYT-600, 3x optical zoom, 100x Super Zoom, 71mm focal length, 1.6um Quad Pixel, OIS).

Bose will be a part of the package as well

The device will have dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. Hi-Res Audio Wireless will also be supported, and Bose will be a part of the offering as well.

The Motorola Signature will measure 162.1 x 76.4 x 6.99mm, while it will weigh 186 grams. It will be IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H certified. The device will also come with Bluetooth 6 and dual SIM support. A charger will be included in the box as well.

The Motorola Signature is expected to launch on January 6 or 7, depending on your time zone.
