The Wait is Over: Motorola Razr Fold Pre-Orders Kick Off This April

Motorola Razr Fold FIFA World Cup 26 Edition

Motorola is one of the most popular brands in the clamshell foldable phone segment. Now, the company wants to achieve something similar in the book-style Galaxy Z Fold market. Some weeks after its initial reveal at CES, a recent teaser from the UK branch reveals that the Motorola Razr Fold pre-orders are set to open on April 11.

Motorola Razr Fold pre-orders near: specs include 6,200 nits display, 6,000mAh battery

The Motorola Razr Fold features a massive 8.09-inch internal display that boasts a record-breaking peak brightness of 6,200 nits. Its cover boasts a 6.6-inch screen that also reaches 6,000 nits. Both panels are Pantone Validated for professional-grade color accuracy, which is great for creators.

One of the standout features of the Razr Fold is its build quality. As Motorola Germany claims, it is the first smartphone in the world to utilize Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. In internal tests, this new material provided a 75% improvement in drop performance compared to previous generations.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This is paired with a substantial 6,000mAh battery and 80W wired fast charging. There’s even support for 50W wireless charging.

The stylus advantage, EU price

Motorola is also bundling the Moto Pen Ultra with the device in several regions, including Europe. This stylus is fully functional on both the internal and external displays. It also supports advanced AI features like “Sketch to Image” and “Circle to Search.” This positions it as a serious productivity tool for professionals on the go. It also targets those Galaxy Z Fold users who miss the features of the S Pen.

According to reports, the device will have a launch price of €1,999 in Europe. It will initially debut in the UK and Germany; a wider release in North America and Latin America is expected in the coming months.
