Apart from upgrading the specs, Apple is also said to offer this year’s iPhones in more colorways.
Many sources have indicated that some of the iPhone 16 models could be offered in a new gold shade. It has been referred to as the Gold Titanium and Desert Titanium by the earlier leaks. Now, the prominent Apple tipster Mark Gurman has shared some details about the colors of the iPhone 16 series. In addition, the possible sale date for the iPhone 16 lineup could have also been leaked.
The iPhone 16 Pro’s gold colorway is going to be a “stand out” color, suggests Gurman
Gurman corroborates the earlier reports regarding a new gold shade for the iPhone 16 series, the iPhone 16 Pro in particular. He suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro gold is going to be the “stand out” color option this year. The tipster also added that “It looks impressive and not terrible like the earlier renders”.
It looks like Gurman seems very confident that Apple will offer some of the iPhone 16 models in a new gold colorway. Sadly, the tipster didn’t mention which of the possible shades of gold the new phone will be offered in. Earlier leaks are also not certain about the gold color of the 16 series.
Furthermore, Gurman also mentioned that the iPhone 16 Pro’s new gold color is going to replace blue. The black, white, and natural options will still be available. He also added “the non-Pros will trade in yellow for white and get new shades of green, pink, and blue.
Apple could start selling the iPhone 16 series from September 20
Apple could start putting the iPhone 16 series on the market shelves of the Apple Stores on September 20. The company is going to open a new Apple Store at the Mall of Scandinavia near the Swedish capital of Stockholm. Gurman believes that it’s not a coincidence.
Also, Apple usually starts taking pre-orders for the new iPhones the Friday after they’re introduced. This year, it falls on September 13. The release date is usually a week later, which would put the iPhone 16’s sale date on September 20. That said, we will finally find out in a matter of days.
