X-Origin had a really interesting gadget to show off during CES 2026. Its name is AIPI Lite, and it may be the cheapest chatbot out there, at least one that is actually useful. We’ve decided to throw one of our CES 2026 awards its way, as it can be really useful, especially if you’re willing to get into a monthly subscription. It’s not mandatory, but it sure is a good option if you’re planning on using this thing for more than just a fun toy.

Yes, it can be much more than that. I mentioned it’s cheap; the device itself costs only $22. Yes, you read that right. It is made to be able to work with multiple LLM backend systems. That actually includes both ChatGPT and Gemini, so it can be quite useful if you set it up the right way. You can even customize it using several different purpose-driven bots, not to mention that you can customize it with a custom backstory, personality, or dialogue.
You’ll need to do all these tasks yourself when you set it up. Don’t fret, though, as the code is not included in the process. You don’t need to be a tech whiz in order to set this up properly. The company’s UI is basically a drag-and-drop affair, so you can do it real fast and keep things simple at the same time. You can choose which model will power it, then choose its personality, and so on. As already mentioned, the most useful features are hidden behind a subscription. You can make this $22 gadget be very powerful if you want to, thanks to that, though.

There’s a single button on it, and your phone is not required. All you have to do is tap that button and talk; that’s it. The gadget will be your personal AI bot. After you do that, it will communicate back with you. It can be so many different things; it all depends on how you set it up. There are also various different colors of the X-Origin AIPI Lite available. You can already grab it in orange, yellow, red, green, or blue colors. So, yes, even fun colors are available for it, not just one boring color.
