See It in Action: Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display Caught on Video

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Privacy Display

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is coming with a ‘Privacy Display’ feature, and thanks to a new report, we can now see how it’ll function. Yes, we can literally see that, as a new GIF shows it to us, along with the phone’s partial design.

If you check out the GIF below, you’ll get to see the Galaxy S26 Ultra from the front, angled on all four sides. You’ll notice that when angled, the display becomes darker, thus making it difficult for people around you to see what’s going on.

This has been shared by SammyGuru, following a report from last year that mentioned that the Privacy Display feature is coming. This basically works like one of those privacy screen protectors that you’d put on a device.

You can see the explanation of the feature thanks to Samsung Tips app

The source mentioned that the info about the feature has been shared via Samsung’s Tips app. You can see an explanation of the feature below, straight from the Tips app.

This feature will be available in the Display section of the phone’s Settings. So you will be able to enable or disable it. Some people probably won’t need it or like it, so there you go. That’s understandable, as it will make it difficult to see your phone’s display when it’s sitting at a desk, for example, as it’ll be at an angle.

This feature will come in handy when you’re out and about, though. That especially goes if you’re travelling or something. It’ll effectively hide your private details, including banking information, for example.

Only the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be getting the feature, it seems

Only the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has been mentioned in relation to this feature. It doesn’t seem like the same feature will be available on the Galaxy S26 or the Galaxy S26+, unfortunately.

Speaking of which, the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to arrive in late February. February 25 was mentioned, while they’ll become available in early March.
