OnePlus has now teased the imminent launch of the OnePlus 15T, taking to social media to say that the phone is “coming soon.” This shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. Back in late January, it was rumored that OnePlus would be launching the device sometime in March. No specific date was given, but “mid-march” was mentioned as the general timeframe.

Now, it looks like there may be a possibility that it could be earlier, given recent posts on Weibo from OnePlus Community Lead Shuai Lan. More interestingly, Lan positions the OnePlus 15T as the “dream phone for small screen enthusiasts.” In reality, the screen isn’t going to be that small. It’s rumored to measure at 6.31 or 6.32 inches. Which, on contrasts to small-screen phones from several years ago, such as the Xperia Compact devices, it’s quite big. However, it’s noticeably smaller than many phones these days.

OnePlus 15T launch teased as coming soon

While Shuai Lan doesn’t specifically say the phone is coming soon, he does say that the phone is about to arrive. This is essentially the same thing. At least, that’s how it reads. It seems likely that OnePlus will stick to a mid-March timeframe, given that Samsung is expected to announce new phones this week and those will likely launch soon as well. OnePlus would no doubt want to avoid launching a phone the same week.

However, the OnePlus 15T is going to be limited to China for now, whereas the Galaxy S26 series will be more global and available in a lot more regions. So, perhaps OnePlus doesn’t care. Although the OnePlus 15T isn’t likely to come to the US, there’s still hope that it might. Given its rumored specs and its likely affordable price tag, it would be a decent option for consumers.
