Reserve Samsung Galaxy S26 Series
Samsung is currently preparing for its big Unpacked reveal event on February 25. Currently, the Galaxy S26 series reserve page is now live for those who want to sign up. However, it seems someone couldn’t wait that long. A listing recently appeared on a Craigslist—even with leaked photos—offering what looks like a functional Samsung Galaxy S26+ (Plus) for a staggering $1,650. While the price is significantly higher than the expected retail cost, the attached photos provided a first real-world look at a device that officially “doesn’t exist” yet.

The leaked images confirm much of what rumors had already suggested. The device features a new “camera pill” design, a departure from the individual lens rings seen on previous models. Beyond that change, the hardware appears quite similar to the current Galaxy S25+.
The unit in the photos also displays the official Galaxy S26 lineup wallpaper. Given the timing and the nature of the listing, experts believe this is likely an internal Galaxy S26+ testing prototype. Buying an unreleased phone from a stranger online is a massive risk—and potentially a scam. However, the photos themselves offer the most legitimate glimpse of the hardware to date.
Expected upgrades
While the hardware looks familiar, Samsung is banking on a some “star attractions” to convince users to upgrade. One of the most talked-about features is the “Flex Magic Pixel” OLED technology. This AI-driven “Privacy Display” dims the screen when viewed from an angle, preventing anyone sitting next to you from snooping on your messages without affecting your own head-on view.
For most users, waiting two weeks for the official release is the smarter move. Not just to save $600, but to ensure they get a retail-ready device with a full warranty. For now, we can enjoy the preview of what Samsung will officially present later this month.
