With the recent launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, many tech enthusiasts are scouring the web for the perfect balance between screen size and storage capacity. One of the most frequent searches involves the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus 1TB variant. However, if you were hoping to carry a terabyte of data on the Plus model, you might need to adjust your expectations.
Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26 Plus, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Ultra version continues to offer a massive 1TB option for power users. But the Galaxy S26 Plus does not include this storage tier this year either. Instead, the company has decided to limit the Plus model to two specific internal storage capacities: 256GB and 512GB.
No 1TB for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus
If you are looking to secure the highest capacity available for this specific model, the 512GB variant is priced at $1,299. For those who don’t require as much local space, the entry-level 256GB version starts at $1,099.99. Both options come equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 technology.
The Galaxy S26 Plus sits in a comfortable middle ground within the family. It features a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, making it larger than the 6.3-inch standard S26 but more manageable than the 6.9-inch Ultra. This screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Interestingly, the Plus model shares a specific “ProScaler” technology with the Ultra that the standard model lacks. This feature improves image scaling to make text sharper and textures smoother in videos and photos.
Under the hood, the US version is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. This processor provides a noticeable power jump compared to the previous generation. To keep everything running, Samsung included a 4,900mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging. A welcome upgrade this year is the improved wireless charging, which now reaches 20W (up from the 15W found on the Galaxy S25 Plus).
The camera setup remains reliable and versatile for everyday mobile photography and content creation. It has a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens for wider shots, and a 10MP telephoto lens that can zoom in 3x. For selfies, there’s a 12MP front camera with Dual Pixel PDAF.

You can now pre-order the Galaxy S26 Plus from Samsung.com, Amazon, Best Buy, and major carriers. While the pre-order phase is already live, general availability for direct purchase and in-store pickup starts on March 11, 2026.
