Samsung launched the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 as its higher-tier mid-rangers earlier this year. Now, the company is working on refreshing models in a more affordable price segment. Thanks to a fresh wave of third-party case leaks, we now have a clear look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A27‘s complete design in renders.
Case leaks reveal the design of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A27 in images
The revelation comes from early product listings posted by case manufacturer DuxDucis. Transparent case renders showcase the Galaxy A27 in a clean white variant, signaling a welcome aesthetic upgrade over the older Galaxy A26.
The most welcome change sits right on the front of the device. Samsung is finally retiring the dated waterdrop notch on its entry-level mid-ranger. The company is replacing it with a sleek, modern punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Additionally, the phone sports noticeably slimmer bezels all around the 6.7-inch screen, including a tighter bottom chin. These subtle trims give the device a nicer look than its predecessor’s.

Matching the family aesthetic
Looking at the side and rear, the Galaxy A27 adopts the design language of its more expensive siblings. The renders highlight Samsung’s signature “Key Island” frame design. That is, the volume and power buttons sit on a slightly raised section of the side rail.
The back features a familiar vertical triple-camera layout positioned on a subtle, rectangular island. Due to this slight protrusion, the device will likely experience a bit of the classic table wobble when resting flat. Interestingly, the LED flash sits entirely outside the main camera module, integrated directly into the smooth back panel (via SammyGuru).
Under the hood expectations
Beyond the exterior look, early technical details point to a highly capable daily driver. Rumors indicate the phone will measure a slim 7.9mm in thickness while still managing to cram a substantial 5,000mAh battery inside. The handset also reportedly supports 25W wireless fast charging.
Selfie enthusiasts might also get a boost, as whispers suggest an upgrade to a sharper 12MP front-facing sensor. On the software side, the Galaxy A27 is expected to ship with One UI 8.5, which runs on top of Android 16 QPR2.
Color variants and arrival
Samsung is keeping its official roadmap under wraps. However, the emergence of finalized case designs strongly suggests production is well underway. The phone will reportedly hit the market in four color options: Black, Blue, Green, and Pink. Industry watchers expect an official release window sometime during the second half of the year.
