Samsung’s Summer Unpacked Date Leaks: Here is Everything Coming to London

After launching the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung still has a big launch event pending later this year. According to a fresh report, the second Galaxy Unpacked of 2026 will take place on July 22 in London. While Samsung hasn’t confirmed the date officially, multiple sources indicate the company is ready to showcase a significant shift in its hardware strategy.

July 22 tipped as Samsung’s next Unpacked event date

The latest info comes from the Korean outlet Seoul Economic Daily. Samsung usually focuses its summer conferences on two foldable models, but 2026 might break that tradition. Leaks suggest we will see three distinct foldable devices this time: the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8, and a highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide.

The “Wide” variant could be the most interesting foldable of the event. The device is horizontally wider and vertically shorter than the current Z Fold. This design would make the external display more practical to use, as well as give a screen ratio closer to that of a tablet when unfolded. The form factor has the potential to significantly improve multitasking.

Galaxy Glasses and Watch 9 series expected

While foldables are the main attraction, the real showstopper might be the debut of the Galaxy Glasses. These smart glasses are expected to run on Android XR, an operating system co-developed with Google. Plus, it could feature integration with the Gemini AI service.

Interestingly, these glasses reportedly lack a display. Instead, they are designed as a smart AI assistant, with speakers, microphones, and high-definition cameras to see and analyze what the user sees in real time. Samsung has reportedly partnered with the eyewear brand Gentle Monster to ensure sleek and practical designs.

Last, but not least, the event won’t stop at phones and glasses. The Galaxy Watch 9 series is also expected to make an appearance, alongside a potential Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
