Infinix is preparing to shake up the mid-range market with the upcoming Note 60 Pro. Early teasers suggest a phone that isn’t afraid to take inspiration from the industry’s heavy hitters while introducing a significant internal shift that fans have been waiting for: a move to Qualcomm silicon.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro’s Matrix Display brings notifications to the back panel
At first glance, the Note 60 Pro will seem familiar in some ways. The back of the device has a big camera island that looks like the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. But Infinix has added another highlight: an active “Matrix Display.”
This secondary panel uses a dot-matrix style to show real-time information like weather, notifications, and music controls. It feels like a creative nod to the Nothing Phone (3) and its famous Glyph interface but integrated directly into the camera module. The device is wrapped in a vibrant “Solar Orange” and features a premium leather texture. Overall, the design seems like a combination of inspirations from other popular brands along with some touches of its own.
Breaking the MediaTek tradition
Perhaps the most important update isn’t on the outside. For years, Infinix has relied almost exclusively on MediaTek processors to power its devices. The Note 60 series marks a major strategic pivot as the company officially adopts Snapdragon platforms.
The Note 60 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 5G. According to the brand, this collaboration with Qualcomm will allow it to offer better power efficiency and more stable performance, especially for gaming and AI-driven tasks. It also shows that Infinix is looking to compete more aggressively in the global premium market.

Infinix Note 60 Pro brings heavy-duty specs for the daily grind
Beyond the new brain and the flashy lights, the hardware remains impressive. The phone features a 6.78-inch Ultra HDR display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen specs are reminiscent of the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ (Review), with which we had an excellent visual experience.
Battery-wise, there’s a massive 6,500mAh cell to keep the lights on. The company also integrates “Self-Healing Tech” to protect the battery’s health in the long term. Plus, there’s support for 90W wired super-fast charging. A pair of JBL-tunde stereo speakers put a nice finishing touch.
The pricing and official launch dates for the Infinix Note 60 Pro are still under wraps. However, the Note 60 Pro is expected to make its full debut at MWC 2026.
